Hi, I'm Rosemarie Fisher!

I'm a teacher by day and an artist by night... and weekends.

I am a Southern California-based teacher who loves to create. Over the last few years, my hobby of art has grown immensely. So much so, that my husband and I have turned our garage into our own workshop.

I always love experimenting with new ways to create, whether with alcohol ink, resin, wood, etc. There is immense talent out there, and I often take inspiration from many artists, woodworkers, and creatives that I find on social media and online.

Teaching is a Passion

Something I love just as much as my art is teaching. I teach middle school science and mathematics, as well as lead the school's STEAM program. I enjoy working with the kids and teaching them valuable knowledge that they will use every single day. I find ways to bring creativity to school and encourage my students to create.

My students also give me an excuse to try new things in my work. Over the last few years, I've created resin trinkets, gifts, and more for my students. I've also used my work as a way to raise money for my students, our classroom, and STEAM program.

Supporting the Community

I love building relationships with people in the creative community as well as my neighbors and colleagues. I pride myself on partnering with businesses that I support like:

  • Street Tree Revival: A local wood company that saves and repurposes lumber from dead or damaged trees.

  • Eye Candy Pigments: A pigment company focusing on providing makers with pigments and powders to make their projects pop.

  • Crafted Elements: A family-owned business that started as a way to supply makers with the quality molds and templates they need to create.

  • The Epoxy Resin Store: A local, family-owned business specializing in developing and distributing the finest epoxy resins available.

If you want to learn more about these businesses, please see my blog post here.

About Me-02.png

"I use my creativity as an anchor to my faith."

Faith

Working as a Lutheran school educator, my faith is extremely important to me. I put that into all the work I do, and that has led me to create many faith-based pieces.

Fine Art

Fine Art is where I get to be my most creative. I appreciate when others are able to see my vision and is something that makes them happy.
